New inflight operations positions such as A320 Captain, A320 Senior First Officer – Fast Track Command, Non-Type Rated Captain, and cabin crew are now opened.

Candidates will need to first create an account and submit their application which will then be reviewed and shortlisted by HR experts. Shortlisted candidates will then receive an invitation to attend an assessment, followed by ground training for those who were successfully selected. Fly Jinnah launched its commercial operations on November 1st, 2022, and currently operates domestic flights across five destinations in Pakistan including, Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta. The airline operates a modern fleet that consists of three Airbus A320 aircraft and serving the Pakistani market with domestic destinations for the first year then it will expand its route network internationally.
Karachi, Pakistan; October 31, 2022: Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s new low-cost carrier (LCC), today held the inaugural ceremony of its first flight to Islamabad, marking the start of the airline’s operations. The ceremony took place at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Karachi Airport Hotel prior the departure of the inaugural flight which included delegates and members of the media.
The inaugural ceremony, which also included a press conference prior to departure, was attended by members of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), along with senior leaders of Lakson Group, Air Arabia Group, Jinnah Airport, members of the press and other delegates.
Iqbal Ali Lakhani, Chairman of Fly Jinnah, said: “Today’s milestone marks the beginning of Fly Jinnah’s operations, a new airline serving Pakistanis and contributing to the nation’s aviation infrastructure with the latest innovation and technology. We are confident that Fly Jinnah will offer its customers a convenient air travel option backed up with a value-driven product and services. Upon the arrival of the inaugural flight at Islamabad Airport, the aircraft was received with the traditional water cannon salute.
Fly Jinnah now operates direct daily flights from Karachi to Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar. In addition to that, the airline operates direct flights four times weekly between Karachi and Quetta. Earlier this month, the airline has received its Air Operator Certificate and Air Operating License from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) allowing Fly Jinnah to start its domestic operations.
Fleet and configuration
Fly Jinnah is starting its operations with a fleet that is comprised of three Airbus A320-200 aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single aisle aircraft in the world. The aircraft is configured with 174 seats and therefore providing added comfort with one of the most generous seat-pitch of any economy cabin. The aircraft is also equipped with “SkyTime”, a free in-flight streaming service that allows passengers to stream a wide selection of entertainment directly to their devices. Customers can also enjoy a variety of snacks, sandwiches, hot meals, and beverages from its on-board “SkyCafe” menu at affordable prices.
Business Model

The launch destinations network will include four domestic routes connecting Karachi to Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar. Karachi, Pakistan; October 11 2022: Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s new low-cost carrier (LCC), today announced that it has received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Air Operating License (AOL), which will allow the airline to start operating from Karachi International Airport as the country’s fifth private carrier.
Securing the AOC and AOL confirms that Fly Jinnah has met all the professional capabilities, adheres to all safety regulations, and has proven safe and secure to operate as a passenger and cargo airline following the completion of a rigorous inspections by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) in which Fly Jinnah was in full compliance with all technical and operational requirements set by PCAA. Fly Jinnah will continue to coordinate closely with the Civil Aviation Authority to determine the date for launching the airline operations.

To obtain the Airline Operating Certificate from the regulatory authority, the airline had to demonstrate the fully trained and qualified personnel, infrastructure, systems, processes, and procedures in place to ensure the safety of the public and its employees both on the ground and in the air.
Fly Jinnah has been assigned the provisional Designator Code 9P by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The carrier will start its operations with a fleet that comprises of three Airbus A320 aircraft. All aircraft cabin interiors will be fitted with world-class comfort seats, offering one of the industry’s most spacious economy cabin seat pitches.
The carrier will be based in Karachi, the country’s largest city with the aim to serve Pakistan’s travel and tourism sector while contributing to the country’s economy. Karachi, Pakistan; May 16, 2022: Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s new low-cost carrier today announced the graduation of its first batch as cabin crew in their brand-new uniform, who successfully completed their technical and customer experience training.
The first batch of Fly Jinnah consisted of 13 cabin crew members who graduated after the completion of an extensive initial and practical course and training which was delivered by cabin crew instructors and learning and development professionals.
Fly Jinnah is currently in an advanced stage in training more cabin crew batches to support the launch of the airline’s operations.
